Article: Family pay tribute to Sam leeson at funeral

Hundreds gathered together to celebrate the life of teenager Sam Leeson yesterday.

The sounds of weeping filled the air as the white coffin - decorated with a floral display that spelled out 'Sam' - was carried in by Sam's dad, Chris.

Sam, of Tredworth, was found hanged in his bedroom on June 5. His family believe the popular Year Nine pupil, who attended Severn Vale School, had been the victim of online and verbal bullying about his alternative dress sense and love of Emo music.

The music he was so passionate about played a central role in the service.

As mourners took their seats they were played Number One by Jont - one of Sam's favourite songs.
