The new logo for Cornwall's "super council" has been criticised
by people who say it does not fully represent the county.
The crest has been created for the new One Cornwall authority,
which will come into force next April and replace the existing
district and county councils.
But critics have compared the logo to the wayward hairstyles of
singer Amy Winehouse and US boxing promoter Don King.
The design met with a decidedly mixed reception when it was
unveiled in Truro, with many questioning why the existing crest -
featuring a fisherman, miner and a chough - had to be replaced.
