Left fielder Luke Scott has been in the starting lineup against
four of the past six left-handers to start against the Baltimore
Orioles -- including Wednesday night's game against Chicago Cubs
lefty Ted Lilly -- after seeing only three of the first 15
southpaw starters to oppose the Orioles this season.
The left-handed-hitting Scott entered play hitting just .220
against lefties this season. But recently he is 6 for 14 with a
double, triple and home run after getting two singles in three at-
bats against Lilly on Wednesday night.
