More than 40 years ago I read an article about a man who heated
his small home by centralizing the source of heat into the crawl
space. Each room had a floor register placed under a window, and the
return air was on the first floor.
I am considering that method of heating a small home that I
intend to build. I have not been able to obtain any literature on
the subject to help me make a decision. There may be too many
drawbacks, one being radon gas.
I can't think of anyone more qualified to answer my problem than
a man who has been in almost 10,000 crawl spaces. Your professional
advice would be greatly appreciated.
