City of Portland to form new council for public involvement

The city of Portland's Office of Neighborhood Involvement is seeking applicants for its new Public Involvement Advisory Council.

The new council will work to improve public involvement processes in city-led efforts. The council will work with the government and the community to develop and advocate for policy and practices related to improving public involvement across all of the city's bureaus. Examples of public involvement efforts include The Portland Plan, VisionPDX and Safe, Sound and Green Streets.
