FOR MOST young girls, growing up to become a beauty queen or a
fairytale princess is the stuff of dreams.
But for Nieve Jennings, 20, both have become a reality. The
current Miss UK and former Miss Scotland has been chosen to play a
lead role in this year's panto at the King's Theatre.
She won the coveted role of Princess Jasmine in the forthcoming
production of Aladdin at open auditions held earlier this year.
And after competing with more than 100 prospective princesses who
turned up to audition for the chance to appear in Scotland's biggest
pantomime, judges decided she had all the attributes to take on the
role.
She will now join Scottish pantomime favourites Allan Stewart and
Grant ...
