Oh, that dress

Milwaukee native Donna Ricco is not complaining about all the attention she's received as the designer of the "Michelle Obama dress."

The dress has been flying off shelves after Obama's recent appearance on "The View." On the weekend after the show, sales at Ricco's Web site were up as much as 300%.

"It's thrilling. I don't think I've even wrapped my head around it yet," Ricco said by phone from New York.

Ricco is a Mount Mary College graduate in fashion design. She's also on the board at the school.

In 1983, Ricco launched Donna Ricco Inc. with husband Thomas Puls II in New York. Ricco likes to think her Midwest values had something to do with Michelle Obama making that ...
