Greetings, dirty thumbers!
Has it been "hot enough for you"? It seems that the hotter it
gets. the more that we see commercials for water conservation -
mostly aimed at not watering the yard.
With the extreme heat of the Inland Empire, water is the most
important part of your summer gardening! We are taught that the
classic California war is water conservation vs. water use in the
garden. Not true! We can water everything as much as it needs and
still conserve on our overall water bill.
First of all - Save 10 percent on your overall yard water. Don't
water one day out of 10. That's it, way too easy.
Second - Thorough watering is important. Light scattered spraying
