A hotel on the Isles of Scilly has come up with a green scheme to
help people cut their carbon footprint when they visit.
Tregarthen's Hotel on St Mary's will be encouraging visitors to
plant trees in a bid to make up for fuel they consume on the journey
to the islands.
Hotel manager Ben Jakes said it was important everyone did their
bit to tackle climate change.
"There is growing interest in the UK in trying to reduce our
carbon footprint," he said.
"As the Isles of Scilly has such a precious and fragile
environment, we want to be at the forefront of helping to protect
the environment."
