A Couple whose post office was closed in February say their plans
to sell it have been delayed by Royal Mail.
Martin and Margaret Bailey-Dalton were forced to close the
Grovehill Post Office, in Grovehill Road, Beverley, under the
compulsory post office closure programme.
But because Royal Mail have not removed a postbox from the land
which is still in use, a potential buyer has been put off from
exchanging contracts.
Mrs Bailey-Dalton said: "The property is sold subject to contract
but we can't move until the post box is removed."
