GOOD GRIEF: GETTING THROUGH THE PROCESS

The death of a loved one is the biggest emotional crisis most of us will ever face. The intense feeling of loss most often is accompanied by a mix of emotions including sadness, anger, guilt, fear and numbness.

In short, we grieve. And how we handle the grief process can make all the difference in how well we are able to regain a sense of peace and return to a healthy state of mind.

Many of my clients who are dealing with grief have told me they feel like they are losing their minds when actually they are having a normal response to an abnormal situation.
