I spent yesterday trying to catch a fly. Actually, I was trying
to catch as many flies as I could, which, by the way, ended up being
one. The trick was that the flies had to be alive, not squashed or
flattened by a fly swatter, my usual form of catching flies.
There I was running around the house with a small, plastic
container and a Ziploc bag, stalking flies, sneaking up as quiet as
a cat on the prowl. Like a Ninja warrior, without the outfit. But
they always seemed to sense I was coming and escaped at the last
minute.
At this point, you may be wondering why in the world a sensible
mom like me is stalking flies. Well, our church is playing host to
