WOOSTER -- Wooster Grace Brethren Church recognized Wayne County Children Services for its 126 years of service to children and families.

Jeana Harley of Grace Brethren coordinated the event, which included a buffet lunch, snow cones and home-baked cookies.

Long-time Children Services employee Lisa Cygan said the luncheon was one of the highlights of her 19-plus years of employment with the agency.

"I am so grateful that a group like this would take the time to honor us with a luncheon," Cygan said. "The words spoken by pastor (Robert) Fetterhoff were very moving and made me stop and think about what I do behind the scenes at Children Services on a daily basis."
