Prince William was at the heart of a Royal Navy helicopter
operation that swooped on a speedboat carrying a pounds40 million
cocaine shipment.
Pilots from Somerset played a key role in the drugs bust in the
north Atlantic ocean.
HMS Iron Duke recovered nearly a ton of the drug when it
intercepted the vessel in the West Indies.
William, who is serving on the frigate, was involved in planning
the operation and carrying out surveillance of the drugs boat.
At dawn on Saturday the warship's Lynx helicopter was scrambled,
with the 26-year-old Prince on board to assist with surveillance.
