The parents of two terminally ill children are demanding to know
why council bosses are stalling over adaptations to their cramped
family home.
Jeff and Jo Lloyd care for Amy, seven, and Scott, four, who both
have an incurable condition called Sanfilippo syndrome.
The alterations at their home, in Gatehouse Rise, Dawlish, would
provide bed space and a specially adapted bathroom for the children,
who are severely disabled.
Teignbridge councillors approved plans earlier this year and
agreed to meet half the pounds120,000 costs.
But Devon County Council social services bosses have not yet
decided if they will give funding. Jeff and Jo say they have been
asking for the extension for two years ...
