As reported, the former stately home - which is protected by English Heritage - is being converted into an 11-room luxury hotel by Cleethorpes nightclub owner Kash Pungi and his team.

Last night, a group of VIPs received their first glimpse of the revamped mansion as the ground floor and restaurant prepared for its first day of business.

A jazz band, string quartet and stunning firework display accompanied drinks and canapes for the invited guests as they got a look at the modern bar, sprawling grounds and a la carte restaurant.
