Article: First Presbyterian Church in Wooster collecting supplies for Midwest 'flood buckets'

WOOSTER -- First Presbyterian Church is seeking supply contributions for the Midwest affected by flooding.

The church is working with Muskingum Valley Presbytery, Reedurban Presbyterian Church and Unity Presbyterian Church to challenge all the churches of the Presbytery to provide as many "cleanup buckets" as they can to Great Rivers Presbytery in Peoria, Ill.

According to Great Rivers Presbytery, within the next couple of days the waters will have receded enough to begin to offer direct assistance to the flood victims. As the need changes, the focus will move downriver.
