A vicar has cycled from Somerset to Downing Street to ask Prime
Minister Gordon Brown for a stronger Climate Change Bill, delivering
more than 10,000 signatures collected by relief and development
agency Tearfund.
The Rev Dr Michael Perry, rector of Queen Camel, West Camel,
Sparkford, Weston Bampfylde, Sutton Montis, and Corton Denham
parishes, near Yeovil, was part of a group of Christian leaders
delivering the 10,000 signatures.
