At a previous hearing, Dean Gossop (36), of Horsegatefield Road, Goxhill, admitted stealing the eight cars from a former chapel on Howe Lane, Goxhill, where they had been stored for 25 years.

Hull Crown Court heard the vehicles were mainly American "muscle cars" and were worth an estimated pounds108,000.

They included a 1970 Boss Mustang, a Plymouth Dodge Viper, a Plymouth Dodge Challenger and a four-wheel-drive Jensen-based sports car, believed to be the only one of its kind in existence.
