REV grad draws award-winning wheels

REDLANDS - Thomas Belhacene of Redlands has been drawing cars for
as long as he can remember.
"I moved here from France four years ago," he said. "My parents
used to race cars, and every day I would be in the garage. That's
what I love to draw."
The 18-year-old, who graduated from Redlands East Valley High
School in June, won two contests recently, thanks to his passion:
the Optimist Club Car Show and Chili Cook-Off logo contest and Road
and Track magazine's sixth annual Kids' Automotive Art Contest.
"Cars are the only thing I draw," he said. "I really like to draw
muscle cars, old classics."
