Bath Rugby veteran Danny Grewcock has signed an extension to his
contract that will see him stay at the club until the end of the
2009-10 season.
Grewcock, 35, who has played for the British and Irish Lions and
has accumulated 69 caps for England, was arguably in some of the
best form of his life last season as Bath reached the Premiership
semi-finals and won the European Challenge Cup.
His contract extension further strengthens Bath's options in the
second row department after the signings of Stuart Hooper, Justin
Harrison and England U20 international Scott Hobson over the summer.
Grewcock signed for Bath Rugby from Saracens in 2001 and since
