Medical study saved the lives of our twins

A couple whose twins survived after being born with a rare syndrome say their hearts go out to Brixham parents whose three-day old babies died of the same condition.

Brian Wilson and Sheena Pavey, from Buckfastleigh, say they were touched reading in the Herald Express about Andrew Binge and Sarah Pates, of Brixham.

Their sons Cameron-Andrew and Bailey-John were born at 24 weeks both weighing less than 1lb 8oz and were diagnosed with twin-to- twin transfusion syndrome while they were still in their mother's womb.

They lived for three days and 11 hours.

Four years ago Brian and Sheena also had twins suffering from twin-to-twin syndrome but a medical study helped save the lives of their boys, ...
