An Overland Park propane gas company continues to battle for
millions of dollars it says was lost due to a scheme headed by one
of its former employees.
Ferrellgas, which recently won a $3.2 million judgment in Platte
County, is now going after its vendors who allegedly paired with the
employee in the conspiracy.
In a second amended petition filed last week, the company is
aiming to recover $247,000 in damages and win a decision that would
keep it from paying for work Ferrellgas claimed never was performed.
The filing of that petition came one week after Platte County
Associate Circuit Judge Daniel Czamanske ordered Scott Beeson, a
former Ferrellgas employee of 12 years, to pay back nearly ...
