If it happens, Polsinelli-Shughart deal would vault new firm to
top revenue, personnel ranks in state
With two large Kansas City-based law firms considering a merger,
how would a new powerhouse affect the legal landscape?
Officials at Polsinelli Shalton Flanigan Suelthaus and Shughart
Thomson & Kilroy announced this week the two are exploring a merger.
The firms are in early negotiations, and no timetable has been set
for when a deal might be finalized.
If the two did merge, the new firm would shoot into Missouri's
top ranks for revenue and attorney head count.
According to Missouri Lawyers Weekly's MOney 20 for fiscal 2007,
Polsinelli generated about $111 million in gross revenue, and ...
