Paul Thomas Johnson, 62, of Pearisburg, departed this life
Saturday morning, July 5, 2008 at Giles Memorial Hospital in
Pearisburg. Born in Ballard, Monroe Co., W.Va. on October 2, 1945,
he was a son of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Elva Mae Gore
Johnson. Paul was a devout Christian man, member of First Baptist
Church Choir, "The Spirits of Joy" , served as Deacon and in many
other callings in the church. He was retired from Celanese Celco
Plant at Narrows as a Supervisor, continued to work in various
enterprises and for The Giles County School Board, until his
illness, and was a member of Giles County Chamber of Commerce. He
