Article: Cement truck overturns in Shaler creek, killing driver

A driver was killed when his cement truck skidded off a Shaler road and landed in Pine Creek on Tuesday afternoon.

Steven Wilson, 29, of Creighton, was driving was traveling toward Route 8 on East Elfinwild Road about 1:50 p.m. when he lost control after rounding a bend and skidded into a guide rail, EMS officials at the scene said. The truck fell 30 feet and landed in the water on the driver's side. Officials did not know the cause of the crash.

Officials said Wilson died before rescue workers reached the crash scene.
