Common sense draws a line for zone drivers

So motor law specialist Michael Pace strikes again (July 1).

Fresh from his success wasting thousands of pounds of taxpayers' money forcing councils to "correct" double yellow lines (just in case anyone out there doesn't know what double yellow lines mean) he's now been working to get another errant motorist off.

So there may not have been big flashing signs and ugly yellow paint everywhere, but surely anyone with any common sense can tell that Waterside South is a pedestrian zone - the huge numbers of pedestrians walking around is one clue.

The road surface is clearly different - block paving rather than tarmac - and the signage is perfectly clear.
