Ethel L. Book, 81, of Mount Joy, formerly of Gap, passed away at
Lancaster General Hospital on July 10, 2008. Her late husband,
Gilbert R. Book, died in 2003. Born in Gordonville on January 19,
1927, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Erma Yuninger.
Ethel was last employed as an inspector by the Vallorbs Jewel
Co., of Smoketown. For many years, she was the cook at the Dutch
Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Paradise. A member of St. John's United
Methodist Church of Paradise, she attended Chiques United Methodist
Church while residing in Mount Joy. Ethel belonged to the Order of
Eastern Star, Christiana Chapter.
