Venezuelan Olympic caravan to tour Caracas
CARACAS, July 10 (Xinhua) -- A large Olympic caravan will tour
Caracas June 13 with the aim of encouraging the population to get
involved in the Beijing Olympic Games and to support the Venezuelan
athletes, sports authorities said Thursday.
Vice president of the Venezuelan Olympic Committe (COV) Elida de
Alvarez said Thursday at a press conference that the tour will begin
in La Rinconada and end in the COV headquarters in the housing
development of El Paraiso (west of Caracas).
