Is your pet like family? Do you take Scruffy or Fluffy everywhere
you go? You're not the only one. According to data from the Travel
Industry Association, 29.1 million Americans said they have traveled
more than 50 miles with a pet within the past three years. More than
75 percent of those travelers go by car or truck.
With planning, travel can be a wonderful experience for both of
you and your pet. Greg Chapman, a veterinarian at Noah's Ark Animal
Hospital and Bird Clinic, offers these tips to help your pet enjoy
the ride.
- Get the green light. Make sure your destination welcomes pets.
It's not fair to anyone to leave your furry loved one in the car
