Details: This usually involves the application of a high- concentration peroxide gel to the teeth by a dentist or technician, after the gums have been protected with a paint-on rubber dam. The gel remains on the teeth for several 15-to-20-minute intervals and is sometimes combined with laser or light therapy to enhance results.
