International Rectifier Corp. of El Segundo has announced the
appointment of Tim Bixler as vice president, general counsel and
secretary, effective immediately. In this role, Bixler will be
responsible for management of the legal functions of the company,
including directing the company's legal affairs; providing legal
counsel to the board of directors, management and employees; and
creating strong working relationships with the business units and
functions.
Bixler will report to the company's chief administrative officer,
Don Dancer. Bixler most recently served as senior counsel for
General Electric's Homeland Protection business. He joined General
