Exeter Phoenix hosts a weekend extravaganza of urban, rock and
world music as well as free family events this weekend as part of
Exeter Respect festival.
The Big Respect Weekender starts tonight with Urban Respect 08,
which features the city's biggest line-up of urban music stars to
date.
Starting at 9pm, five rooms will host a variety of street beats
from hip-hop to grime, drum and bass, funk, soul, breaks and
dubstep.
Grime and hip-hop take centre stage in the main auditorium where
British rapper Skepta will be performing alongside "first kid of
grime" Wiley.
Drum and bass maestro DJ Marky will be headlining in the marquee,
with further performances from DJs Andy Smith, Plastician and ...
