Actress Kellie Shirley saw The Vagina Monologues as a 15-year- old on a school trip. Now, nearly 10 years on, she is appearing in the cult production herself.

"We went along to see the show and it was really, really funny," says Kellie. "It was like nothing I had ever seen before and it had quite an impact."

Kellie, who played Carly Wicks in the BBC television soap EastEnders, will appear alongside Shobna Gulati of Dinnerladies and Coronation Street fame and Linda Robson, known for her appearances in BBC sitcom Birds of a Feather.
