Interview: Beijing Olympics to be great success: Greek Deputy FM

ATHENS, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Olympic Games will be a great success, Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Yiannis Valinakis said in a recent exclusive interview with Xinhua.

Valinakis, who visited China with Greek President Karolos Papoulias late June, said attending Olympic Games is a great experience.

"I was lucky enough to have this experience in 2004 in Athens and I would love to be present in Beijing. I have visited the Olympic venues and I know that the city of Beijing and the whole country will offer the world unforgettable games," Valinakis said.
