Hockey festival proves a big hit ; Almost 100 young players from Plymouth, Ivybridge and Caradon took part in a primary age hockey festival held at Marjons and organised by the Plymouth Hockey Development Group at the weekend.

Almost 100 young players from Plymouth, Ivybridge and Caradon
took part in a primary age hockey festival held at Marjons and
organised by the Plymouth Hockey Development Group at the weekend.
In the build up to the event young players received weekly
coaching at Marjons, Lipson and Liskeard from a team of coaches who
were supported by young leaders.
This year, on the back of the largest primary mixed hockey
festival in June, over 100 boys and girls were selected to attend
the three centres.
Saturday's festival proved a big success with all the young,
talented players receiving medals for taking part in the event.
