A man stabbed his love rival to death in a fit of "extreme
jealousy", a court heard.
Truro Crown Court heard that David Gamble, 41, of Tolcarne Mews,
Newquay, stabbed Robert Hodgkinson, known as Oscar, to death after
finding him in bed with his on-off girlfriend.
Gamble appeared before the court yesterday to face a murder trial
after pleading not guilty at an earlier hearing.
The court heard how on Monday, July 16, 2007, Gamble's girlfriend
Michelle Wakelin went clubbing at Newquay's Barracuda Club with
four men, including 32-year-old Mr Hodgkinson.
Gamble and Ms Wakelin, who have since rekindled their
relationship, are described to have had a turbulent relationship and
the court heard ...
