Stormont pediatricians limit service

Stormont-Vail HealthCare pediatricians will no longer see their young patients at St. Francis Health Center, choosing instead to consolidate their services at Stormont.

PediatricCare physicians sent a letter June 1 to patients stating that effective immediately, they no longer would admit or take consults on patients at St. Francis, either in the emergency room or on the pediatrics unit. The doctors will treat newborns at St. Francis but not beyond the initial discharge after birth, the letter said.
