Article: GOP senator to call for special session on ethics

HARRISBURG -- Despite high-profile charges filed in a state corruption scandal, many Western Pennsylvania lawmakers say they don't believe a special session on ethics would be helpful.

Lawmakers will get the opportunity to make that choice today when Senate State Government Committee Chairman Jeffrey Piccola, R- Dauphin County, articulates a formal ethics reform initiative that would include a petition calling for a special session.
