MIDLANDERS, Northerners and Scots are continuing to fuel growth
at Eurostar following the cross- Channel high-speed train's move to
St Pancras from Waterloo.
But Eurostar bosses are warning that while passengers are still
boarding in their millions, falling consumer confidence will see
slowing growth.
Eurostar today said it carried 4.6 million passengers in the
first half of the year representing growth of 16% in the second
quarter, down from the 21%seen in the first three months of the
