More than 600 high school pupils took part in a sponsored bounce
to raise money for a summer sports programme and boost the coffers
of a children's charity.
Pupils from St Peter's High School in Newcastle held the fun
bounce event on Tuesday.
As well as raising vital funds for Stoke-based Caudwell Children,
cash raised will fund a six-week sports programme at the school
during the summer holidays.
Groups of children, aged 11 to 16, took it in turns to race in
teams on purple space hoppers along the length of the school hall as
part of the charity's "Bounce" fund-raising initiative.
