Plymouth Albion fly-half Ross Laidlaw insists the club and its supporters have yet to see the best of him as a player.

The 24-year-old, who joined Albion last summer, was a key player during the 2007/08 season, ending it as leading points scorer.

However, despite recording in excess of 200 points, the former England Under-21 international has promised Plymouth fans there is more to come.

"On paper, I suppose it wasn't a bad season for me," said former Saracens and London Irish player Laidlaw.

"But I know there is a lot for me to work on and I will expect a lot more of myself in the coming season.
