American Society of Transplantation's (AST) Board of Directors
visited elected officials on Capitol Hill to discuss key
transplantation policy initiatives. The discussion focused on the
extension of immunosuppressive drug coverage and the need to
increase funding of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The
group also reviewed legislative policy priorities for the 111th
