Arsonist Annie Clinton is refusing to leave her home despite a
court order.
The 63-year-old was convicted of arson at Exeter Crown Court
after putting lit paper through neighbour Phillippa Horner's
letterbox.
The court heard that Miss Clinton "harboured a dislike" for Miss
Horner after she complained to the police about the behaviour of her
neighbour's boyfriend.
The pensioner's resentment manifested itself in January when she
posted a burning piece of paper into Miss Horner's flat, when she
was out, filling it with black smoke and scorching the door.
Following her conviction, Miss Clinton was told she had to leave
her flat in Bampfylde Street, Exeter.
