Cornwall's game with Wales Minor Counties is set for an
interesting finale at Falmouth today.
The home side will start the third day with a lead of 237 and
five second innings wickets remaining.
Wales, meanwhile, were 58 for two overnight in reply to
Cornwall's excellent total of 361, which included fine knocks of 95
from Keith Parsons, Tom Sharp (85) and Chris Hunkin (67no).
And it was skipper Sharp who got the Duchy off to a flying start
yesterday, the Truro all-rounder trapping The Duchy got off to a
good start when Tom Sharp trapped Mike Clayden lbw in the third over
of the day.
Three overs later and Andrew Jones was next to go, the Welshman
spectacularly caught by Matt Rowe, diving ...
