Article: Peslier lands plum ride on Papal Bull ; RACING

SIR MICHAEL STOUTE has booked French jockey Olivier Peslier for the ride on Papal Bull in Saturday's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot.

Rumours were rife yesterday that Ryan Moore would be on the five- year-old but Stoute told today's Racing Post: "Olivier Peslier will ride Papal Bull and Ryan will ride Ask." Gary Patchett, spokesman for the Papal Bull Syndicate, was pleased with the riding arrangements. He said: "When Sir Michael told us who he had booked we were thrilled. We were so excited we made a point of asking Sir Michael that if plans for his other horse changed, we would like things to stay the way they are, and he said he couldn't see that being a problem." ...
