SIR MICHAEL STOUTE has booked French jockey Olivier Peslier for
the ride on Papal Bull in Saturday's King George VI and Queen
Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot.
Rumours were rife yesterday that Ryan Moore would be on the five-
year-old but Stoute told today's Racing Post: "Olivier Peslier will
ride Papal Bull and Ryan will ride Ask." Gary Patchett, spokesman
for the Papal Bull Syndicate, was pleased with the riding
arrangements. He said: "When Sir Michael told us who he had booked
we were thrilled. We were so excited we made a point of asking Sir
Michael that if plans for his other horse changed, we would like
things to stay the way they are, and he said he couldn't see that
being a problem." ...
