Morningstar Farms Philly Cheese Steak Burgers. $2.99 to $3.99 per
9-ounce box containing four patties. Bonnie: Veggie burgers have
improved vastly over the years -- so much so, that I now enjoy
them on a regular basis.
These new Philly Cheese Steak Burgers could become a new option
for me. They're made in the style of a Philly cheese steak, with
onions and peppers and real melted cheese. The cheese is mozzarella
that's mixed into the burger, instead of provolone that's
traditionally melted on top.
This vegetarian version contains tons fewer calories and less fat
than a real one, and is not bad-tasting. It just doesn't taste much
like a real Philadelphia cheese steak.
