They are still human.

When the Milwaukee Brewers won seven in a row on the road, three of them in their last at-bat, they were bordering on the ridiculous and looked like a group of perfect baseball droids.

Even when they did do something wrong -- making an error or posting hideous numbers with men in scoring position -- they found a way to make people forget by getting some kind of outstanding pitching performance or super-clutch hit.

And with a team that came into its series opener against the Houston Astros on Friday night 14 games above .500 at Miller Park, it figured the positive vibes would continue.
