Article: Wine: Tasty chenin blanc

Chenin Blanc can make sweet, luscious, golden wines, in the Loire.

It also makes sparkling wine, dry wines, medium-dry and, in fact, just about every style. Within the Loire it really is a fascinating grape and the wines can be complex.

However, there's an awful lot of dire, pointless wine made from Chenin Blanc. And while I love South Africa, and am impressed with most of their wines, their Chenin Blanc - in most cases - is just not worth drinking.

So, I specifically asked the supermarkets to send tasty Chenin, and they did.
