PLAYER OF THE GAME
Houston third baseman Geoff Blum, who entered the game batting
.219 with six home runs, socked two out of the park against Brewers
starter Jeff Suppan. Blum's second shot to right, a three-run blast,
capped a seven-run outburst in the fifth inning.
TURNING POINT
Pitching to the bottom of Houston's order with a three-run lead
in the fifth, Suppan allowed four batters to reach base before
recording an out. Before the inning was over, Suppan surrendered
seven runs, putting the Brewers behind for good, 8-4.
